Conversion rate is the amount of visitors that actually converts into the action you have as target on your website. <p>Ad texts with each word starting with a capitol letter gets slightly higher clickrates: Like This For Instance. Now when you use dynamic keyword insertion that can be a bit tricky, because people generally search with small letters (dynamic keyword insertion is when the keyword is put directly into your ad to make it more relevant to the user, as your ad contains exactly what they have searched for, and it also appears in <strong>bold</strong>, so in general dynamic keyword insertion has quite a positive effect on your clickrates). So how do you get those ads to look great even though people search in small letters?</p>
<p>It all comes down to how you &#8220;code&#8221; the dynamic keyword insertion in your ad text in Google Adwords. Have a look at this:</p>

<p>If you use the daily budget max to control your spend every day, then your ads will stop showing, when the budget is reached. This means that your ads might be showing the first X amount of hours per day after which they will dissappear. Do you really want the people who <strong>actively search for your product</strong> to NOT see your ad? I didn&#8217;t think so.</p>
<p>Instead use the CPC or CPA bidding to get the average daily spending to the level, where you want it. This way you end up paying less for each click (instead of paying too much on a smaller part of the day) and being visible all 24 hours of the day.</p>
<p>We recommend using the max daily spend as an &#8220;emergency break&#8221; on e.g. double the spend you want to have &#8211; just to make sure that things don&#8217;t get out of hand. This way you get more value out of your SEM / Adwords campaign with a higher ROI and constantly visible ads.</p>

<p>Therefore don&#8217;t expect your SEO and SEM/Adwords campaigns to deliver massively when people are busy with holidays like Christmas, Easter, Eid or Ramadan. Or if the weather is straight out great making people want to spend more of their time outside.</p>
<p>Seasonality of course has different patterns in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and UAE than in Europe or USA.</p>

<p>You can <strong>improve the efficiency of your Adwords campaign</strong> by using the different ways of typing in keywords in the campaign &#8211; see the illustration.</p>
<p>The first way of typing in your keyword, which you probably already do is the standard way of setting up your campaign. You basically just typed in the keyword, but didn&#8217;t do anything apart from that. This is called <strong>broad match</strong>. In this case your ad will show, <strong>any time the keyword is in the search phrase of a user</strong> (in your chosen market).</p>
<p>The second version is typing in the keywords &#8220;like this&#8221;. This is called <strong>phrase match</strong>. In this case, it means that <strong>your ad would appear everytime the words &#8220;like this&#8221; is included in a users search in exactly that order</strong>.</p>
<p>The third and <strong>most powerful way of using this keywords tool from Google is [exact match]</strong>. This way your ad will ONLY show when those exact keywords are in the users search and NOTHING else &#8211; so it would not show in a search like &#8220;what is exact match?&#8221; but only in &#8220;exact match&#8221;. Get it?</p>
<p>The reason why this has <strong>tremendous value for you</strong> in optimizing your Adwords campaign, is the fact that these searches have <strong>different values</strong> to you as a marketeer. Without doubt conversion is bound to differ on these different ways of searching for your product/service. Even with the slightest difference in conversion it has value for you, to <strong>differentiate your bid</strong> on these different searches.</p>
<p>To illustrate the importance of this one example is the Adwords campaign for the danish online pet store Elskerdyr.dk. On a important word like <a href="http://www.elskerdyr.dk/">hundeartikler</a>, which means dog articles in Danish the broad match has NEVER given a single sale, while the exact match has given dramatic sales. This means that costs can be saved DRAMATICALLY on those 2 thirds of all &#8220;hundeartikler searches&#8221; as they are on broad match and very little valuable. In other words the company can both <strong>save costs</strong> at the same time as they <strong>increase their investment and position</strong> when people ONLY search for exactly <span style="text-decoration: underline;">hundeartikler</span>.</p>

Otherwise you loose out on some potential clients.</p></div>
<p>Many people set up their <strong>Adwords</strong> campaign and primarily focus on the market or country they want to advertise in e.g. Dubai or UAE. Typically a campaign would be set up to target all of UAE and <strong>the language setting would typically be set on English</strong>. This is however a problem.</p>
<p>There are lot of users in UAE that Google sees as having other languages as their main language. This would mean that <strong>your ad would not be shown to a lot of Arabic, Hindi or Farsi speaking users</strong>. Some of them would see it, but a lot of them would not.</p>
<p>This is the time you have to remember that your <strong>keywords really have already done a lot of segmentation</strong> on your campaign. If you have English keywords in your campaign, then your ad would only be shown, when people actually search for this English keyword. Then there is no need to not get EVERYONE who searches for that word exposed for your ad. Even though a person has his browser and operating system in Arabic he probably still is fluent in English and could be a potential client for your product.</p>
<p><strong>The solution</strong>: After you have chosen your market and your keywords then just add all possible languages. Only in few specific cases this would not be the best way to go about it.</p>
