Google Adwords has a great function for the use of CAPITOL letters in ad texts - when you use dynamic keyword insertion
Ad texts with each word starting with a capitol letter gets slightly higher clickrates: Like This For Instance. Now when you use dynamic keyword insertion that can be a bit tricky, because people generally search with small letters (dynamic keyword insertion is when the keyword is put directly into your ad to make it more relevant to the user, as your ad contains exactly what they have searched for, and it also appears in bold, so in general dynamic keyword insertion has quite a positive effect on your clickrates). So how do you get those ads to look great even though people search in small letters?
It all comes down to how you “code” the dynamic keyword insertion in your ad text in Google Adwords. Have a look at this:
{Keyword:Google AdWords} Google ads
{KeyWord:Google AdWords} Google Ads
{KEYWord:Google AdWords} GOOGLE Ads
{KeyWORD:Google AdWords} Google ADS
{keyword:Google AdWords} google ads
Now that is a tip that will help your SEM campaign! A big thank you to my good friend and fellow Adwords freak Kasper for his insights!
